He works to build partnerships with a range of different organisations and sectors, and to develop projects and products that help to take forward Belong’s mission to connect people and organisations to build a more integrated and less divided society. He is also a local councillor in Waltham Forest, elected in May 2022. In recent years, he has worked as a policy and communications consultant and as an associate to the Belong Network and the Good Faith Partnership. He previously worked as Head of Public Affairs and Policy at the integration charity, The Challenge, where he led the organisation’s policy, research and thought leadership work. Prior to this, he was Head of Policy at the Federation of Master Builders, a trade association representing over 8,000 SME construction firms, where he led the organisation’s award-winning policy and public affairs work on housing.
