The Power of Connection through Volunteering is a new digital toolkit containing guidance and best practice examples on how volunteering can best strengthen social cohesion at a local level.
Registration is now open for our two free Power of Connection workshops taking place later this month and in September to help guide you through using the toolkit.

Shared Ground community of practice – 23 May, 27 June, 26 September, 28 November, 30 January, 26 March
A community of practice for all those working to avert community tensions and facilitate good relations.
Shared Ground is for people and organisations which work alongside residents and in neighbourhoods to strengthen good relations and avert or manage tensions that can arise within communities.
Shared Ground, which will start on 23 May 2023, will combine a community of practice designed to facilitate peer learning and support, with elements of a training programme able to provide accredited CPD points.

This event is for anyone in the sports and physical activity sector who wants to better understand the powerful impact their programmes can have in helping to build stronger, more cohesive communities.
Belong’s Annual Conference – Belonging 2023, 15 November
Our annual conference, Belonging 2023 will take place at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday 15 November.
Belonging 2023 is open to both Belong Network members and non-members – anyone with an interest in social cohesion and fostering connection and community resilience across charity, academic, private, public and civil sectors will find it of interest.
