Belonging 2022: New date announced

Due to the passing of Her Majesty The Queen on Thursday 8 September, last week we made the difficult decision to postpone our annual conference, Belonging 2022: Leading on Social Cohesion, which was due to take place on Friday 16 September. A number of our fantastic roster of speakers and panel members were no longer able to appear due to national mourning guidance and we knew many more delegates and speakers might be engaged in organising local events for remembrance and mourning.

We were so heartened in the weeks leading up to the planned conference by the outpouring of enthusiasm amongst delegates and panel members to get together in person and connect with others and are therefore pleased to announce that we will be going ahead on the new date of Friday 2 December. The Belong Network sincerely hopes that you will be able to join us in Manchester on this rescheduled date for a day of inspiring speakers, workshops and in person networking. We can confirm that our three keynote speakers and the themes of our plenaries and breakout sessions will remain the same, as will the start and finish times. Click here to view the schedule.

For those that had tickets for the original date of the conference, you will have received updates and instructions via email on carrying your ticket forward and refunds. We have a few remaining tickets left and registration has now reopened. So if you do not have a ticket but would like to attend then please click here.

Belonging 2022 – FAQs

Can my ticket be carried forward to the rescheduled event?

Yes. We will honour all tickets that have already been booked for the rescheduled event.

What if I cannot make the new date?

If you cannot make the new date we will offer a full refund provided you let us know within two weeks of the announcement of the new date.

I have purchased a ticket, will I be refunded?

Yes, we can refund your ticket immediately. Let us know if you would like us to do that. However we can also carry your ticket forward to the rescheduled event. If you would like to attend the event on this new date then you will be automatically guaranteed a place.
