The Belong Network offers resources and training for sports providers at any stage of the journey in using sport to bring people from different communities together.
You could already be running regular community sessions aimed at increasing participation among marginalised and under-represented communities and looking to measure the success of your work. Or you may be at the start of this journey and looking to learn how to bring different groups together in a way which is safe, enjoyable and allows space for people to get to know one another and overcome prejudice or misinformation.
Belong can support you on any stage of this journey through consultancy, acting as a critical friend, providing training and workshops for staff and volunteers and increasing your professional networks. We offer a Community of Practice and an online training resource under our ‘Power of Sport’ work (Links) which provide best practice, professional development, support and inspiration regardless of the sport or size of your organisation. Being part of the Belong Network also gives the opportunity to learn from others in business and civil society sectors – who are facing the same challenges but able to share different insights and ideas.
