Belonging 2022: Leading on Social Cohesion
Friday 16 September 2022
Manchester
In person and online
#Belonging2022

We’re delighted to announce that the Belong Network will be holding our annual conference in person once again in Manchester this September – and we’d love you to join us.

All Belong Network members and anyone working on or with an interest in social cohesion and community resilience are invited to learn, celebrate, share and network at this day-long event. We’d be delighted to see you in person but online tickets will also be available.

As we look at learnings from the pandemic and other challenges now facing communities around the UK, the need to build trust, bridge divides and collaborate across sectors has never been greater.

Belonging 2022 is a chance for all those working to foster stronger social connections, cohesion and trust to meet, explore best practice and celebrate achievements.

Topics will include bringing people together through sport, measurement and evaluation  techniques, local authority approaches to social cohesion, tackling hate crime and looking at future challenges to community resilience.

Belonging 2022 will offer ideas, evidence and ‘what works’ workshops and talks for all sectors with an emphasis on cross-sector collaboration. It’s also a chance to develop a collective voice: calling on government to recognise the importance of community resilience, building connections and bridging divides amid the Levelling Up agenda and cost of living crisis.

We really hope you can join us – please keep the day free and we’ll have details of how to book very soon.
