Storybox is a story sharing activity designed to stimulate understanding and empathy between people who have never met.

Storybox is a gamified story sharing activity led by HistoryPin and MadebyPlay. It provides a toolkit that can be used by community and cultural organisations to build understanding and empathy between people and communities who don’t normally talk to each other.

The toolkit has been designed and piloted with 40 community and cultural organisations across the UK and US and emphasises three intentions: 

  • Community-led 
  • Impact focussed
  • Designed to love
